There is nothing much to write about this film. You would have seen it about a hundred times already. An honest cop gets transferred to a very troublesome area and cleans it up. How many times have you seen it before? How many times have the bad men been politicians? Plenty of times.
Well, that sums up the story of 'Okkade'.
Here it is in detail-
Shrihari is Yugendran, the Superintendent of Police is a trained encounter specialist. He gets transferred to Rayalasema. The area doesn't have the usual law and order system. It is completely controlled by Subburayadu, played by Mukesh Rishi. He is assisted by his son, Chinnappa, played by Bharat.
Santoshi comes and goes. Even if she was absent in the film, you probably wouldn't have noticed.
Yugendran, the cop, finally gets rid of the region of its menace.
Mukesh Rishi has perfected his art of playing the local don to perfection that he now overacts. Bharat, Ravi Theja's younger sibling, could have chosen a better film.
The only tolerable element in the film is Shrihari's performance. keep your eyes closed for the rest of the film.
Plus-
Shrihari's performance
Minus-
Just about everything else
