The actress has got engaged to be married to an engineer named Gopi, who also happens to be the younger brother of acclaimed actresses Bhanupriya and Shantipriya.
This is an arranged marriage. The parents of both Vindhiya and Gopi made the match. Though he is an engineer by profession, Gopi now deals mainly in real-estate. They also have fixed a location for the wedding, the Guruvayoor temple in Kerala. In order to maintain privacy, they refused to announce the date.
Bhanupriya is now on a comeback mission. She is seen these days in a film or two in Tamil. Most of the roles are those of mothers.
