His recent 'Don' had hit the theatres. Everybody has started to mumble that the film is continuing its performance at the box office only for the sake of Nagarjuna. The film's music had turned out to be very average and this is getting Lawrence all the bad name now.
It seems they initially had planned to bring in a well-known and pretty successful music director to compose the tunes. But he had quit because he was tired of being told what to do by the director. So, Lawrence decided to give it a try. Had the songs become big hits, nobody would have complained. But, they didn't create any ripples.
The industry is now taking an independent analysis of the performance of Lawrence's directorial ventures. It turns out that only 'Mass' did well. The rest were simply average. His detractors are now smirking that he should try to stick to dance choreography alone and come up with variations in his trademark dance step...
