The romance between Amisha Patel and Vikram Bhatt was going so strong that everybody assumed that the two were going to eventually get married and settle down. There were even talks that they were looking for an apartment to buy in Mumbai.

But the director has now confirmed that they have broken up. He was already married to someone else and the marriage was on the rocks for a while now. The status of the failed marriage still remains unclear.

For a while now, Amisha had been busy trying to regain a foothold in the film industry. She was recently seen in the Hindi remake of 'Chandramukhi', in the role that Jyothika played.

Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend Vikram Bhatt is giving serious thoughts about stepping into film production.
