The couple had two kids- a boy and a girl. The boy passed away a few years ago due to illness. For a few months now, there were constant rumors that he was getting drawn to a former actress who has now got married and has quit the industry. He denied those rumors.
Then talks began that there were troubles in his marital life. In a recent interview to a magazine, he finally revealed that there indeed were problems in his family and that his wife and he have drifted apart. Soon after that, he has now filed for divorce under mutual consent.
His wife's sister, who happens to be a former actress, tried to intervene and bring about peace, but the attempts have failed.
