It is official now- Shankar is going to direct Rajinikanth in his next film 'Robot'. The film is going to be jointly produced by two well-known and upcoming production houses, Eros and Ainkaran Films. Everybody's trying hard to bring in Deepika Padukone as the heroine, but she hasn't officially accepted the film yet.
Rajinikanth is very particular about not starring in two films with the same director and is therefore going to star with another director before 'Robot' begins.
The superstar has picked up P Vasu to direct the film. It is for this film's heroine chance that all leading actresses in South India are now desperately trying for.
