Trisha is fast picking up her career pace again. After a brief lull, she is getting busy with almost half a dozen film. Three of them are in Tamil and then there is one with Nagarjuna in Telugu.

But many are convinced that she is very sure of getting an offer to star with Rajinikanth this time. The actress was very hopeful of getting the 'Shivaji' offer. Like everybody else, she too was disappointed when they picked up Shreya instead.

But Rajinikanth and director Shankar are hell-bent on bringing in Deepika Padukone as the heroine.

There seems to be another film that the actor intends to do with director P Vasu (who had given him 'Chandramukhi') before working with Shankar again. Almost all the heroines of south Indian have now set their eyes on this film.
