There is so much concern about P Vasu because the man is soon going to direct Rajinikanth for a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu, 'Kuchelan' / 'Kucheludu'. Ashwini Dutt had his fingers crossed about the performance of 'Krishnarjuna' to see the director's box office trend.
'Krishnarjuna' stars Nagarjuna, Vishnu, Mamta Mohandas and others in the lead role. The film is heavily inspired by the Hollywood hit 'Bruce Almighty' and has a very jaded feel to it. The only saving graces were Nagarjuna and the gorgeous Mamta Mohandas. Even Vishnu, the hero of the film, had an uphill task to rescue the film from mediocrity.
Since 'Kuchelan' too is a remake of a Malayalam film, like P Vasu's previous hit 'Chandramukhi' was, he might score a big hit with it
