Mumait Khan's debut film as a heroine, 'Maisamma IPS' might not have done well in Telugu, but the film seems to have big potentials as far as Tamil is concerned.

'Maisamma IPS' with its extremely controversial story is now being dubbed in Tamil as 'Gayathri IPS'. Since Mumait has also appeared in item numbers in quite a few Tamil films, she can rest assured of enough publicity for the film. Already some very titillating stills from the film have started appearing in media.

The film is about how a young woman takes revenge on her brother-in-law for killing her sister. The brother-in-law incidentally is a dog catcher-turned-crooked politician.

Meanwhile, Mumait has now made her mind up about sticking to item numbers and is looking for such offers.
