After more than two years of absolutely no releases, and the fact that his previous releases had flopped badly at the box office, Vikram finally has reasons to celebrate.

It was soon after the 'Majaa' fiasco that he launched his 'Bheema'. The film ran into one delay after the other and took its own sweet time to get ready. Vikram said that it was because perfection takes time. Finally, on the 31st of December 2007, the film got its censor certification.

The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film are going to be released on Shankranthi day, this year.

Trisha is the heroine. Harris Jayaraj had composed the film's music. They had already made their way to the top of the charts and have now started to slip away too.
